What the outage tracker shows
UpDownSignal's internet provider page listed a partial outage for Spectrum on October 23, 2026, described as cable internet connectivity issues in New York and Ohio. The incident was first reported at 21:06 and last updated at 23:06. The page's summary for Spectrum reads "Minor Issues," while its incident table reads "Partial Outage," so the tracker's own labels do not fully agree. The table does not show a time zone, so check before quoting a time.
On the same page, Frontier was listed with a major outage for a fiber network disruption in California and Texas, from 19:06 to 23:21 that day.

On October 15, a news report described Spectrum customers in St. Louis and Florissant, Missouri, in New York City, and in Playa Del Rey, California, saying their connections had been down for hours. Of the complaints the report broke down, 44% concerned broadband, 43% Wi-Fi and 9% mobile internet. The same report said outage trackers checked that day showed Spectrum as operational overall.
